Life
MY how time flies! I am not just a couple months away from completing the internship for my Masters.. I remember high school being fun but this is a BLAST. I am working full time for a Mental Health group home and I am interning as an addiction counselor. I am involved with Family Promise, a group of people that help homeless families get on their feet and into their own home in about 8 to 12 weeks. (we have a 98% success rate). I also do Historical re-enactment with the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA.org); something happening nearly every weekend.

I did not want to take my maiden name back; I'm just not that girl anymore and my parents were pretty unsupportive. (divorce is the unforgivable sin and all that) I did not want my ex's name either so i chose another name TELEIOS; its the Greek word for integrity and wholeness. My grandmother has always been aware of the abuse and was fully supportive of my choice to gain my freedom. Before she died, she asked me to consider including her name PINE in my name. SO...., I am Cheryl Lynn Pine Teleios. The ironic thing is that I wanted it for 14 years but when it came down to it, the whole thing took 5 minutes.
