Cheryl's schools include California Area High School. She later attended California University of Pennsylvania. Taught in Allegheny County for 31 years, West Mifflin, Homestead and retired from Elizabeth forward.. When not in a classroom, raised Thorobred horses and showed them in hunter and jumper competitions on the East coast.

Maintain a farmette in Bruceton Mills, WV, during warm weather and a cabin in Mimbres, NM during the winter. Love the contrast between the two states!
