Joe's Story
Life
i left catskill in 1977 to move to middletown ny to work for my brother mike who is a veterinarian there. stayed with him for a few years, til i got married to cheryl rockey, in 1980. i met her here, but she's originally from paramus, nj. we've been around the area since then, mostly in pine bush, where we live now. we have a cute little house on 2 acres on a dead end road in the woods. about 20 minutes to middletown, 30 mins to new paltz. we have two cats, no kids, we both have motorcyles, and we have a 1972 vw van. the pop-up, camper style called westphalia. we take that to the music festivals in the summer, and cam...Expand for more

i've been working at an industrial pipe, valve, and fitting distributor for the passed 12 years, and doing well. cheryl is a self employed photographer who's main business is weddings. we are both christians, and are active in our church, harmony baptist, in middletown.
i've been involved in acting for years doing alot of community theatre, some stuff in nyc, and a couple of movies. now i'm in the process of writing a screenplay for a movie that i've had in my mind for years, and am finally getting the training i need to finish it! it's gonna be great! can't wait to see it on the big screen!
