Cheryl's Story
After graduation, I attended Mary Washington College,graduating in 1987. I met my husband, Randy, in November of 1986 in Fredericksburg. He had moved there from his home in Wisconsin. We were introduced by a mutual acquaintance and have been together ever since! We were married in June 1990.
We welcomed our first born, our daughter, Megan, in September 1993. In October 1995, my husband was transferred to Michigan where we currently live in a small town called South Lyon, just outside of Detroit and Ann Arbor. In May 1997, our son, Benjamin, was born.
Since my graduations, I have taught 3rd and 5th grades, worked in Accounting, and offered daycare in my home. I have worked as a part-time cashier at our local Kroger since 2001.

d my mornings homeschooling my two children. We began homeschooling in the fall of 2004. It has been the greatest experience! I love spending time with them, even though my husband misses how clean our house used to be!
Megan is a typical teenager who enjoys being a Girl Scout, dancing, her laptop, listening to country music, her youth group, and hanging with her friends.
Ben is a typical tween who enjoys anything that looks like a ball, Boy Scouts, the computer (especially Runescape), helping his dad around the house and with the car, hanging with his friends, watching Disney Channel and Nickelodeon, and picking on his sister.
Our family visits both Wisconsin and Virginia twice a year to check on the extended families we left behind.
