Cheryl's Story
My husband, Alfredo, & I live in Rockport, TX and have a house on a canal by the Gulf. We love it here & feel like we have, literally, settled in Paradise. The only thing missing is that the rest of our families have not moved over here yet! We have four grown children (three boys and one girl) and four grandchildren (two girls & two boys) with one more little girl due to be born July 11th. They range in age from eight to two years old. Absolutely beautiful - every one of them! I am a registered nurse, having graduated from UT Tyler, but am currently working in the office for our construction company. ble to come back to a slower, calmer life is a very welcoming concept! I often think of growing up in Delta and am very grateful for having had the opportunity to live there most of my remembered childhood. I think that I have had a lot of very diverse life experiences which, like everyone, have sculpted me into the person I am today. I would hope that those experiences have made me a much better person than I would have been, otherwise. I would have graduated with the class of 1975, but graduated a year early - in '74.
