Cheryl's Story
Hey, Everyone out there! Here's where I've been since graduating from Stewart in 1968. I enrolled at NAU that fall, completed 3 years there, then took a break to raise my baby girl. Was out for about 1 year, then was recruited for a teacher training program out of NAU which I completed in two years and have been teaching since 1975 and still going! Healthwise, I guess I'm plagued with old-age ailments like everyone else. I have only the one daughter who has given me 2 wonderf...Expand for more
ul grandsons. She's working on a daughter, but time is working against her too. She, like mayself, is a teacher. But she teaches Math to the wild bunch, High school kids and coaches softball too.
She is also an alumni of NAU. I guess I should update my story. I now have 3 grandsons n enjoying my retirement. I'm at home keeping watch on my 3 yr old grandson who is a joy to spend my days doing all kinds of things like story time etc. guess I haven't truly retired from teach-ing.
