Cheryl's Story
I always wanted to be a coach when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was an okay, good idea (sarcasticly). As it turns out, they were mean. I really enjoy sports of all kinds..
I always enjoy a strong swim. If I can't swim, I take a stroll to a park or relax in my 6 ft. bathtub/spa
I love to go to the mountains or the high desert to ride our quads. Our grand-children and their parents would ride with us on our 40 acres in Helendale, CA. We had three Arctic Cats , One Kodiak and two child sized Polaris. I sure miss my orchard, garden and Mojave River that ran through it!!!!!
My inspiration comes from the Bible. I look to it for answers. I wanted to be like the woman at the well. I have the courage of Daniel. I possess the obedience of Noah. The story of Ruth is my all time favorite. I can picture myself living in Biblical times. My love of Jesus is so strong. I am very fortunate to have him on my side. He is my Best Friend in the whole world!!! We talk quite often. I am a person who looks at my human race with openess to people's souls. I could care less: what a person looks like or how they dress. I don't care what they possess. The only thing that I look for in a friend is love, unde...Expand for more
rstanding and kindness! I went to a class reunion, this year, where I thought that my classmates liked me for me. As it turned out they laughed at me and ridiculed me for things that took place in my past history!!!! They embarrassed me so badly, that I left the party early. I will never go back to another reunion for as long as I live!!!!! God forgive them!!!!!
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have a pen and paper, peace, and quiet to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Skip Lorenz, because he always understood me and never judged me. He was always nice to me. Always said "hi". I could tell that he was a gentle person. He and I were very unique. I have always admired him for being himself! I really miss him. I wish that I could talk to him, again. He was so easy to talk to. He is a really good friend. I know that his wife is very lucky to have snagged him up. I am very happy in my relationship with Steve. I wouldn't trade him for the world!!!!
I am into bowling and used to be on a bowling league. Getting arthritis isn't helping. But, I still have my bowling shoes. Out grew the bowling ball that I had. Fingers got too big!!!
