Cheryl's Story
You may not remember me, since I moved around a lot. I went to Fern Creek for half of the 7th grade, then moved to Durrett for the rest of the 7th, 8th, and 9th grades, then to Atherton for the rest of my high school years. Along the way I made some really good and memorable friends. Over the years I lost touch with most.
I married right out of high school and have been with my husband ever since. We have two great kids, now grown up. My son is a musician and my daughter is a physical therapi...Expand for more

I spent many years in retail, owning my own beauty salon, furniture store, and a chain of lingerie stores. I sold real estate for awhile and also worked for others, mostly selling jewelry as a regional manager for a national chain.
Now, I'm a freelance writer. You can find my work in Business First, Today's Woman magazine, Today's Transitions magazine, and other publications.
