Cheryl's Story
Still living in Garland,Texas 35+ years. Married to the same guy Ken, who I met in college My, daughter Jenny graduated from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia Arkansas,moved to Little Rock wich is too far away . My son Chris has been living in Snyder working, going to school and living in the house I grew up in on Dalton Drive . My Mon died about 18 years ago ,and Dad developed dementia and Parkinsons and had to come live with us last two years of his life,. I was teaching ,so Chris stayed home and became the caregiver or we would never have been able...Expand for more
to keep at home. He passed away in July a year ago. I retired from teaching this year after 20 years . I had talken off to become a foster parent, then stayed home with our children untill Jenny was in the fifth grade . I love retirement, sleeping late,time to do just what I want to do, which is sometime nothing. I would love to travel ,which has been one of our favorite things to do in the past before the kids got to be teenagers and took all our who would enjoy itmoney. Ken says he doesn't care to travel now, so I'm looking for friends who like to travel !!
