Cheryl's Story
Life
I married in 1976 and became a stay at home mom in 1978 when my son was born. In total, we had three children and then moved to Dallas in 1989. My son Jeff is 32 and working as a business consultant. He is engaged and will marry in May 2012. My daughters are Jill, 27, who is working as a graphic designer in Sarasota and Tracey, 25, who graduated from Southern Methodist University in May with a marketing degree and works for a women's boutique. My husband and I travel a lot, enjoy photography, movies and music, socialize with friends, and golf.

r graduation, I began working as a secretary at Milwaukee's City Hall in the Personnel Department. After 3 years, I transferred to the Milwaukee Public Schools Administration Building. I was Executive Assistant to the head of the Personnel Department for 9 years. I quit when I had my first child in 1978. I then was a stay at home mom and frequent volunteer at my kids' schools. We are now empty nesters, my husband has retired and we are enjoying life, traveling as frequently as we can and spend time with our adult children. Patiently waiting for future grandchildren.
