Cheryl's Story

Working full-time since high school days-currently in an acounting field, got married in1983. Have two wonderful, beautiful daughters, a son-in-love, and one more on the way! Ayden, my 3-year old grandson is one of the greater joys in my life right now! SO thankful to God for my family! Being a parent has taught me alot about myself(short-comings and strengths) and how to give unconditional love! Experienced alot of family losses including the recent passing of my 87-year-old mom, so I understand grief and rejoice in all the blessings (including the hardships) that My Saviour has allowed me to partake in. Attended 5, 10, and 20 year class reunions. Then this summer went to FALCONFEST with one of my older brothers, Eddie! It was Great! Glad to see an assortment of graduation years all at once. Would love to see more CLASS OF '79 next year!!! How 'bout it?! Trying to get my other two older siblings to come with us next year, also! They are from 1967, 1971, and 1975. Also my sis-in-law 1976. oleman is my oldest friend that I still hang with-we have been together since early elementary days! Martha Sanders Thompson is my other best friend that I stay in touch with-we met in 8th grade at Garrett. Both stood by me in my wedding! We get together as often as we can to catchup and enjoy good food! Some people from my past who I'd most like to see again is Rebecca Tummons, because she was a close friend for many years, John Tetanich, because he always made me laugh and he cheated over my shoulder so I owe him one, or two,or more!!! and Yvonne Duplaisir, because we spent alot of Senior year and after together. Diane Martin (sister Donna) is another long-lost friend I would love to see! My goal was to work with kids in some way, hoping to be a teacher, or to be a writer but I didnt go to college. After high school, I was set on getting married! Imagine that, I didn't date much in high school, and never dated anyone I attended school with. I love to Facebook! You can find me there, too!
