Cheryl's Story
Summary of my life so far-
I've been out of touch with most everyone since our Jr year - Got married in the summer of '68, had my son in February of '69 - daughter in '72 - finally got my BS in '82 in Computer Science and divorced in '93 - bummed around for a couple of years and remarried in '95 - since then - did some consulting in '96 in Columbia, Mo at Shelter Ins for Y2K, then Kansas City in '97 at DST (Mutual Funds) and Dallas in '98 (Blockbuster). After consulting for Blockbuster for 3 yrs, I was hired and worked for Blockbuster until '06. After being in Dallas for approx 8 yrs and commuting back & forth to SE OK, my husband having a heart attack and Blockbuster downsizing - decided to take whatever job I could find in Antlers, OK where we have a Storage Business. We have 5 Westies (the smartest dog breed I've ever owned) & two Yorkies (not the brightest, but oh my gosh - everyone loves them) along with 23 goats. We had the goal of at least one trip a year to Utah to ride ATV's in the mountains - managed to go several times from 2005 to 2008 (Colorado and Utah). I love riding in the mountains. Never been to overseas - Still trying to see as much of the US as possible. My son, Robert was teaching school in California and is now living in San Francisco - has a 'high end' Salon called Descend Salon on Union Street which is now ranked # 5 in San Francisco's Salo...Expand for more
ns and #1 in the Marina Area. Anyone that goes out has to see it or check out the website descendsalon or check out the reviews on Yelp. My daughter, Lori, is in Dallas. She takes after her mother, has her degree, but still just hanging out - trying to decide what she wants to be when she grows up. My husband and I have 4 grandchildren ages 22, 13, 11 & 7.

My mom passed this year in April just a week before the first anniversary of my Dad's passing. Miss them both.
Son Robert's salon is making it big time - now #1 in San Francisco - getting rave reviews. Daughter Lori still in Dallas doing her thing.
July - went to 1969 class 40th reunion. Was interesting to catch up with some of the people I went to grade school with. Several people I would have liked to see didn't make it.
August-----Didn't make it to Utah this year - instead 1st trip to Sturgis - took our Trike & 4 wheelers - Loved it - the bikes - the road trip - went on to Idaho to see a cousin - coming back we stopped in Montana for some 4 wheelin' with the Dorkie Yorkies. What a great country we live in.
Planning 2010 trip already. Also adding addition to our RV Park we started last year (forgot to mention). Bob's decided on Lacona NH for our trip - will finally get to go north & east - haven't ever wanted to go in that direction, but will try it once.
