Eight years ago today my good friend, Bob Gonzales passed away.  Bob was an awesome individual, he could build and repair anything. He would help perfect strangers and never accept any payment from them.  Bob was a WWII Arm

At the PCA get together yesterday.  This used to be someone’s home!  Now open as an event destination.  100 Porsches expected.  I was an early arrival.

At Ford Island Avaition Museum, Pearl Harbor visiting "The Swamp Ghost", a project that I worked on for ten years, to get it back from Papua New Guinea to U.S. soil.  Now its in a very good "Home".
Happy NY to all.  I miss the cold, the snow, the sleet, the cold, the frost bite..........

Thunder, lightning, rain and hail up here.  We need the rain.

Got to do some flying today in friends Navion that hasn't flown in 2 years.  Test flight.  Uneventful,  Beautiful warm day.
Suffering through another brutal February in Northern California.
This much better, the Cliff House, good food and beautiful view of the Pacific.
I've been dragged to Haight/Ashbery in San Francisco to look for 70's style clothes for a party.  Haven't been here since July 1967, a walking circus.
Mike Sullivan, the owner, in the middle and the two aircraft mechanics, after a successful test flight.  This Navion was built in 1949.  Mine, the same type was built in 1948.
