Earned undergraduate degrees from Trident Technical College, Charleston, South Carolina and University of South Carolina. Earned Master of Science degree in Oceanography from the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, California.

and earned a commission through ROTC (University of South Carolina). Currently, U.S. Navy officer (Commander) with 28 years and assigned to the Chief of Naval Operations staff in Washington, DC. Occupation is Navy Oceanographer.
Making preparations to go to Iraq. Will leave DC in January 2009; expect to arrive in Iraq March 2009 with an expected completion and return home in Spring 2010. Pray for our troops 'over there.'
