Chris's Story
Chris is from Hillsboro, Oregon. His schools include Hillsboro High School. multiple community colleges, The National Fire Academy, and the Emergency Management Institute located in Emmetsburg Maryland.

9 I became involved in the fire service and I served as a volunteer Firefighter/EMT for 11 years while working my way through the ranks and then went on to become the Fire Chief in Cornelius Oregon. I served in that capacity for an additional 30 years for a total of 41 years in the fire service. During my employment with the City of Cornelius I served as interim city manager for 7 months, I retired December 31, 2011.
