Karen is from Bakersfield, California. Karen's schools include South High School.
2020- What a mind blowing experience we are all having! I can't say I saw this one coming. Just wanted to reach out to all of my classmates and I hope you are all safe and well. I became a widow in November 2018 and I was trying to adjust to a new way of life, and then the virus came, so I have no idea of what my life is like. So you all stay safe and when I figure out what my life is I will write again. Take care!
Nov. 2021- I said in my last message I would write again, I just wish I had good news to share. We found out in Jan. of this year that my 39 year old son has tongue cancer. He had to have al...Expand for more
l his teeth removed and he went through radiation and chemo treatments. Things were looking good until Oct. The cancer is back and has spread all through his tongue now. At this point he has to have surgery. We found out they will try and leave a little of his tongue but more then likely will have to remove his whole tongue along with his lymph nodes. They will reconstruct some type of tongue using skin grafts and muscle from his leg. The pain from the cancer has returned and will only get worse until the cancer is gone. Chris has been living with me during this time and to see him suffer so much is a nightmare. Hopefully the next time I write I will have better news. Take care 🙂
