Chris's Story
Life
I still live in Rancho. I made the choice to stay here. I moved so much as a kid this is home. It is funny how some stay and others say "You are still there?" I like living here. I have a job I like and I live and work in the same city. My commute is 4 miles. I hope I hear from some friends and maybe some people who still hate my guts. Tee Hee! Just be happy!
School
I went to Alta Loma my senior year. I moved ten times during my school years. I attended four different high schools in four years because of my dad's job. Some my know my brother Matthew who passed on in 1982 and some might know my brother Jeff. He was the wild one and the one who all the girls chased. I had great times running track and partying like it was 1978!
College

Workplace
I have worked at the City of Rancho Cucamonga since 1988. I started in the maintenance department and slowly worked my up to Management Analyst III. I manage the City's tax roll data base and work with the Geographic Information Systems department creating GIS data and performing analysis. I love where I work and the work I do.
Military
I joined the Air Force in 1985 and was stationed at March Air Force base until 1985. I was an Inertial and Doppler Navigation Technician. I worked on these navigation systems on the KC-10 and KC-135 refueling aircraft. I got out in 1988 and got a job at Northrop working on the Inertial Navigation system for the MX nuclear missile and got laid off with 4500 people and I landed at the City of Rancho Cucamonga. Serendipity!
