After Whitehouse I attended TJC then went to the University of Texas at Arlington and got a degree in Electrical Engineering. During my college years I got into cooking chili competitively and in 1994 won the CASI Texas State Chili Championship. lucky enough to work on the most advanced fighter jets in the world including the F-22 Raptor and the F-35 Lighting II. In 2001 I married the love of my life, Tonda and we have three awesome boys, Gary (17), Kaden (16) and Cooper (12). I am currently living in California and working at Edwards Air Force Base flight testing the F-35 but I am looking forward to returning to Texas next summer.
