Well since high school I have been married twice. For 17 years the 1st time & 12 yrs. the last time. I have had some interesting jobs. I've worked in a salmon cannery in Seward Alaska...planted, sheared, fertilized, cut, sold & thrown Xmas trees on the trailers of semi trucks...driven dump trucks..pulled wet cedar lumber off the green chain & round table...worked in convenience stores, & worked janitorial & maintenance in a school district, cooked in a nursing home...had my own dog grooming business...my own daycare business....line cook at a "fly-in" diner & a casino & am now the head cook for a local senior citizen lunch program. I adopted two boys with my second husband but have been a single parent for about 12 years now. Have dated & a few steady boyfriends during that time but haven't met Mr. Right yet. Have learned & grown along the way as I'm sure all of us have. Found out exactly what I do & don't want in a man. Realized that friends are about "quality"...not "quantity". Seems we all wanted to be popular in high school...*L* I own my own home in Montesano, Wa. & my boys are almost 17 & 21 now. We have a golden retriever named Tbone & a small pit bull mix named Diva that my oldest son rescued. We also have 3 cats, S'more's, Babygirl & Rebel. I love spending time with my boys, they keep me young. I also like getting together with friends & entertaining. I love to cook & I collect cookbooks. Hoping to write one of my own someday.
