rried in 1984 and I began a new career with the UN World Food Programme. Between travelling all over Africa, Europe and Asia we managed to bring up two sons who are now both in their thirties.. I left the UN in 2007 after three years dealing with Chechnya and a final year living in Darfur. I had had enough of the world traveller bit and decided to be with my wife and kids in Vancouver. I still do the odd consulting job for the UN but am basically retired. If anyone would like a beer and a chat sometime, give me a shout.
