Chris's Story
I spent most of the 19 years after high school in Flagstaff with a short stint in L.A. and a couple three years in the St Louis area. Then 32 years ago I packed up my 12 year old son, my horse and both dogs, hooked up the boat and came to PA. It was the best thing I ever did for myself. I still own C. Cookie Driscoll, Inc and Whodathunkit Farm despite some hiccoughs along the way. Son John lives in the DC area with his lovely lady Alison, so we're close enough to visit but far enough to stay out of each other's hair. I am past chairman of the board for the National Small Business Assn and Past Chair for the board of directors for SMC Business Councils. It's very time consuming, but...Expand for more
important work. They know me pretty well at the capitols, both state and national because of the work I do. No grands yet.
Well, I think it's time to update my story. Mike walked out on our marriage about a year ago. What a devastating blow that has been! Ugh. But I'll get my game back, I promise.
I can no longer work with horses since I developed a really nasty allergy to them. So I own a lovely horse farm without any horses. OK, so what's my next adventure going to be? I mean, no horses, no husband...it's time to reinvent myself, dontcha think?
I just noticed the dresses in the ad at the bottom of this page. Is it just me or do they remind you of what we wore in high school?!?!
