Chris's Story
Hi, I'm Chris Elliott. An 81 Grad... Born in Laguna Beach, California. Moved from there when I was 3 to Dayton, Ohio. Page Manor area to be more precise. Went to Beverly Gardens Elementary grades k-2nd, then moved to Vandalia and went to Demmitt Elementary for my 3rd grade year. In 1974, my mom and dad bought a new home on Shalamar Dr in Huber Heights. I then went to school at Titus from grades 4-6. I believe my teachers were Mr. Williams, 4th grade, 5th grade, I cant remember,lol, and 6th grade was Mrs. King. Great teachers !!! Went to Studebaker Jr High for my 7-8th grades then moved on Alter Rd. near Monticello Elementary. Eventually moving again, to Menlo Way just down the street.. I started High School at Wayne my freshman year, then moved to Florida to live with my dad and went to St. Petersburg High for a little while, then moved back to Huber to live with my mom again for another year or so(at Wayne again) then eventually back to Florida and finished my Jr. and Sr. year at Northeast High School... Okay... I'm gonna announce all the girls that I can remember that I had crushes on just for the fun of it... This will be a first !!! If any of these fine folks are you, please dont be shy and respond .... I would truly like to hear from you or anyone else for that matter !!! Wow, I just made the list and you'd think I was some kind of stud or something.... But really I believe I was very shy, so some of you never knew... lol... Here goes.... Drum Roll Please.... K-2nd grade... Susan Patterson, Linda Leach, Vickie Tobias, next door, and the spanish twin girls who lived across the street.......... 4th-6th, I'm sure this list is alot longer than this, hard to remember all you guys oops girls...Brenda Childers, Brenda Griffith, Andrea Atchison, Kelly Rice, no, wait a minute, she always roughed me up at recess, we were just friends...lol.. gnant, Terase-from 1981 summer school, Rivierra Middle, Mr Browns art class, lol.. Yes I know, I was half credit shy, dangit, but I got it! lol... Michelle Thill, Karen Lyons, Angie Hawkins, Cathy Rich, Tracy Baker..... and maybe a few more from HS..... My 5 year hiatus doing the bar scene after high school.....Corey Mungillo, Barbara Guyer, Maryanne(cutie Behind the bar at Gable's Pub!), Nikki Dupler, Cherlyn, Pam Johnson, Karla Mitchell, PJ.... Now , I'm sure I missed a few and I'm very, very sorry, I am alot older now and the memory is going fast. By the way, this list was compiled with no help from any yearbooks, just my fried brain..LOL, hold on... there may be a few listed that were after I was married.... No, looks ok.... Of course I also would love to hear from the guys too from the past 30 years or so !!!
In 1986, I finally settled down and married a super gal who used to give me great deals at the Mc Donalds Drive thru !!! lol. Her name is Tammie. Will be married 23 years this April, 2009
I worked at Winn Dixie for 20 years for the most part in the St. Petersburg, Fl area... before starting a new career with Fritolay.
In 2001, my wife and I visited some friends in North Carolina, and a year later we moved there. It is a beautiful State !!!
I have 2 sons, Chris 17, and Logan 9. I'm enjoying being a dad, watching my kids grow up so very quickly. I am very close to my inlaws ! My interests includes playing golf about once a week, nascar racing on leagues through the internet. "If you like racing, I got to get you hooked up, it is so cool and its free!!!" and watching my sons play school sports ! I smoked cigs from 1982 thru 2007, I'm now quit for 15 months... I used to play tennis alot back in the day... Mark Alexander was my tennis hero... from Wayne HS. I played city league tennis in Florida and won every division till I finally won the elite Singles A Division in the early 90's in St. Petersburg, FL
