More about Chris:"i grew up mostly in athens texas but moved around a lot. i graduated from eustace high school in eustace texas. a year after high school i joined the navy where i served 4 years on the uss abraham lincoln cvn 72. while on the lincoln my ship did the shock and awe campaign of iraqi freedom. we also did operation enduring freedom and southern watch. all three of these operations were done during one deployment f...Expand for more
rom july 2002 to may 2003. my last deployment on the lincoln we did operation unified assistance when indonesia was hit by a massive tsunami this was in 2004. 6 months afte i left the navy i joined the army and have been in the army every since. i was first stationed with the 2nd battalion 5th calvary regiment 1st calvary division at fort hood texas where i deployed october 2006 - janurary 2008 in support of operation iraqi freedom, and then again feburary 2009 - janurary 2010 also in support of operation iraqi freedom . i recently got stationed with the 1 - 13 calvary squadron out of fort bliss texas in el paso. my job in the army is a fire support specialist. i am currently a sergeant but am working on making staff sergeant before the end of this year. i am half way done with my associates degree in general studies then i plan to move on to my baccurlates degree in criminal justice. i plan on retiring out of the army as of right now i have 10 years and 11 months to go before i reach my 20 year minimum for retirement.".
