Chris's Story

high school in Maine, I attended Nyack College near New York city. There I was comissioned in the Army Reserve and for a while worked as an Army civillian. Later I found my way south to Alabama and began working as a mechanic. Soon I was in Charleston SC at aircraft maintenance school and began career as an A&P mechanic. Since 1997 I made a career in the aviation industry. During the journey I fathered two beautiful children, Taylor and Joshua. Today I am starting over after a near death experience in 2010. God has preserved my life and gave me the strength to go on. God is so good! I am alive and saved by the grace of God and thankful to still be alive. As Michael Card has sung, "there is a wonder and wildness to life, and freedom for those who obey!"
Beside two children, I have been gifted with wonderful friends, and brothers and sisters who have come along side of me in hard times. My sibligs and I said goodbye to our mother in 2009, and they and others came along side of me in 2010 when I became sick and was not expected to survive. For all of those who prayed for me during that ordeal I want to thank you. My family and friends made a great investment in me and God blessed it and it paid off. God bless you!".
