l live in Seaside with my loving, beautiful wife Emily and my cute, little, sometimes mischievous:) son Carson. Rosie is back living with us for good now! Broke my heart to send her away. A couple years ago Holly, our other Boxer got out of her kennel and we think she must have been picked up and stolen because it's a pretty small community and she had a tag on her collar with all of our contact information. She was never returned. We spent days looking and calling the dog pounds, watching the lost and found in the papers and never found her so we figure some tourist must have picked her up being the middle of the tourist season. It's very aggravating. It was sad, not just for us but for Rosie too cause they were best friends. Every time we went outside we could tell Rosie was acting like she was looking for her. We just hope she has a good home. Make sure you have a chip put in your dog. It's not much more than a shot and it's worth it. On the weekends we are content taking a drive or doing fun things outside (if it's not pouring rain here on the Oregon Coast)! pecially. My wife grew up here so she is used to it but she doesn't like it much either and she really doesn't like listening to me wine about it! We like to go to the beach and let Carson and Rose run all the energy out and play in the sand. The water is too cold to play in for very long but it's fun to hang out there and have a fire and cook hot dogs or whatever. My wife and I like to go to concerts in the Portland area once in a while. There are some pretty big bands that come through. I only go to rock concerts but that's fine with her because she likes most of the bands I do. She likes country too but I just can't get into it. Maybe one of these times. Last year we saw Avenged Sevenfold, Buckcherry, PaPa Roach, Saving Abel, Staind, Shinedown, Chevelle, Hailstorm, Nickelback, Hinder, Papa Roach again and Saving Abel again. It was three different concerts. All awesome! Hope to do a lot of fun stuff in the rest 2011 and beyond. I'm back working for one of the best bosses I ever had. Ya, the motel thing didn't work out for us (it was a blessing in disguise) because we're happier than we have been in a long time! We have a love that not too many people come by and a son with a zest for life whom we love to death! Emily is currently not working since Carson just started kindergarten and she needed to get him settled into the routine, but looking for a job and it looks like she will be working part-time here soon to supplement my income. My boss is a great friend and a guy I will always look up to and I really enjoy working for him. Not too many people find that either. So we consider ourselves pretty blessed and treat each day as a gift (because it is!)".
