Chris's Story
Well... a long road hasn't taken me too far; high school, college, grad school, and then to teaching... high school! I'm a proud Baltimore City Schools high school teacher, now in my 9th year (seven years at Patterson High school and now in my second year at Independence School in Hampden), teaching math to 9th - 12th graders (Ms. Henshaw and Mr. Walters would be proud to know their persistence with me lead me from street-level punk behavior to higher knowledge.) I'm now proudly married to my wife Bonnie (whom I met in college at Towson), mother to our daughter Faith (precocious little crumb that she is). Anyhoo, we enjoy most mundane forms of entertainment but, mostly each other. And...Expand for more
life is good! I don't excuse myself for not being involved more in Franklin High life, but let's remember I was one of the few taking Calculus (with Mr. Sanders) in senior year while working the burnout shift at the Chevron across the street from school. My life was active on both fronts back then (job and party), as it is to this day (I work with one of my old college buds from Towson.) I love music (my preoccupation), math (occupation and passion) and watching kids (teenagers) grow into "big" people (fascination). I have not set foot in Franklin High since I left in '89, but my fingers regularly page through the yearbook; I'm heartened to see old names and new stories.
peace,
chris
