1987 Basic Training-Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois.
1987-88 Operations Specialist 'A' School, Fleet Combat Training Center Atlantic, Dam Neck, Virginia.
1988-91 Served aboard USS Biddle (CG-34), homeported at Naval Operating Base, Norfolk, Virginia.
1988-89 First Mediterranean deployment on USS Biddle. Attended Midnight Mass, celebrated by Pope John Paul II at St. Peter's Basilica, Vatican City, Italy.
1989 Coast Guard Special Ops, Caribbean Sea.
1989 Participated in Refresher Training on USS Biddle at Naval Station, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
1990 Attended Electronic Counter-Countermeasures School at Fleet Combat Training Center Atlantic, Norfolk, Virginia.

on USS Biddle. Participated in Operation Desert Shield/Operation Desert Storm as primary anti-air platform. Participated in intercept ops, Red Sea.

General military: Participated as Navigation Plotter, Navigation Scope Operator and Log Recorder as member of Navigation Team on USS Biddle, and was in charge of the prepartion of nautical charts for navigation.
