When the Gordie Howe Bridge is completed next year, it will be the longest cable-stayed bridge in North America 1.5 miles long.
This is the Ravenel Bridge in Charleston, SC. Technically, it's a cable-stayed bridge design that crosses the Cooper River. I thought it was beautiful when we crossed it.
Sandy Rotarius Smoke, this is the modern Sunshine Skyway Bridge. I hope Baltimore considers this design to replace the collapsed Key Bridge. Notice the massive bumpers that protect the towers!
