Chris's Story
Life
Left high school 2 years early to get an education. Started at Canada College in Redwood City in 1980. Spent the next 1 1/2 years there until the "All mighty dollar" won out and was forced to get a full time job as an Auto mechanic. Spent the next 16 years in a back breaking and thankless career, but I was extremely good at what I did.
Married in 1988 and bought house in Oakley CA. in 1989, commuting to Burlingame and back every day. (75 miles each way) Even on a motorcycle this began to suck. Found a job closer to home, only 23 mile away, in Concord. Began family in 1992. Expanded family in 1994.

Began career as a Software Engineer in 1996, which involved a lot of study and patience.
Moved to San Ramon in 2000 and survived the dot com bubble burst.
Separated in 2003 from wife. Divorced in 2005.
Still working on career in Software. Currently hold position as Sr. Application Architect utilizing JEE technologies.
Enjoy snow boarding, when time permits and the kids want to go. I also perform Taiko drums with a group in San Lorenzo. I am attempting to learn Romania as a second language, although I am a slow learner. (Maybe I should have take French in High School. That would have helped to say the least.)
And when I have nothing else to do, I am focussing on getting a small business off the ground.
