Chris's Story
Well after 18 years I guess the best way to start is by saying, "Man I did a lot of stupid things in High School." Now that we have that out of the way, today I am happily married to my beautiful wife Nicole and I have 3 children: Asher, Amber, and Jada.
I currently live in New Orleans as of August 2009 where I am pursuing my Master's of Theology. Hard to believe, I know. I have been active in youth outreach for the past 16 years trying to teach teenagers that there is a better path in life than the one I chose as a teen. The path that caused a lot of heartache and pain for my mother and those I called friends. my heartfelt apology and find it in your heart to forgive me. I often think about the poor decisions I made in High School, and what it would mean to be able to look all of the people in the eye that I hurt and say I'm sorry. I guess I'll have to settle for this note in Classmates.
You may be thinking, "Is all of that really necessary? I mean we were just kids. You don't need to apologize for stuff you did as a kid." While that may seem like it makes sense, I guess I just want to make sure that I have done my part to "clear the air" among "old" classmates.
