Life After High School I went to College for a few years and then in 1991 after getting engaged I joined the Army. I was sent all over the place and finally got out in 1993, at which time I joined the reserves and two years later switched to the national gaurd. In 1996 I married Melina, (some of you may remember her from school). Late in 1997 I was honorable discharged from the Oregon Gaurd, and was enjoying married life, and just getting comfortable with my decision to stay in the computer industry for a career. In 1998 my son was born and a few years later in 2000 my daugher Karyss was born, finally in 2002 Paris completed our family. I rejoined the National Guard again in August of 2003, after seven years as a civilian. I was attempting to land a job as a full time reservist. Well 30 days later I was informed that I was going to Iraq, two weeks later on October 12, 2003 I was shipped out. I remained away from family and friends for twenty months. First in Texas for four months, then Louisuanna for a month. Next I was in Kuwait for a month before finally landing in Baghdad after a grueling five day convoy thru some of the most desolate and famished land I have ever seen.
