Christa's Story

Wow, it's been a really looooonnnnnnggggg time since I was trying to remember my locker combination between classes. After graduating college in 1993, my friends and I took a road trip out to California and I instantly found a place to call home. I started out as a VISTA Volunteer (the domestic version of Peace Corps) in Monterey County, setting up programs that provide food to people in need. ing Together, an organization that provides free home repair for low-income seniors and disabled residents. More recently, I have been raising funds for the Gorilla Foundation. It's the home of Koko, the gorilla who communicates in sign language. I'm not married, nor do I have kids, however I have been dating my boyfriend, Ed, for 12 years. That's normal...right? Oh...why rush things? We live in an old Victorian Flat in the heart of the city and have one bunny named "Mouse". Let me know if you are in San Francisco. I would love to show you around. Christa
