To anyone who is remotely interested in what I have been up to for the last 30 years...well here it is. After High School, I went to College for a couple of years but thought getting a paycheck was the way to go, so I entered the working class managing retail stores. I had the opportunity to manage a store in L.A., so, at 21 I packed everything up and moved. It was interesting, to say the least, but after a year of missing my friends and family, I moved back to Dallas. Got married at 25, had a baby boy at 28, got divorced at 35. After realizing retail was pretty unstable and not cost effective, I pursued the healthcare industry managing an office for group of pediatricians for 10 years. My main incentive to stay, as a single parent, I received complimentary medical care for my son. In 1998, I went to work with Perot Systems in Healthcare IT, and I am still gainfully employed with them. My son, Matthew,is 22 years old and pursuing his Master's degree at Tx.
