Christie's Story
Brief bio:
Married in 1985, still together. Married a soldier and saw the world. One daughter going into middle school. Gave up accounting after 21 years to become a teacher. Finishing up dual degrees in Early Childhood Special Education and Foreign Language with a minor in American History/Civics. I plan to teach ESOL. I'm about too old to have to work this hard, lol.
Moved from urban Florida to deep rural Georgia between Katrina and Wilma.

most part. I have one room in my house dedicated to my instruments and library. I have too many. Piano, 5 guitars, mandolin, concertina, 21-string harp, banjo, several African drums, assorted smaller percussion instruments, and a few others that I bought intending to learn, but ran out of time. I have wall-to-wall bookcases which are filled with my eclectic reading tasts. Enough said on that.
I'm busy. I love my family, my home, my schooling, and my life. I could use a vacation, though. The kind where everyone else goes somewhere and leaves me in peace. :D
