Hello to the class of 68 who came from schools like Taylor Elementary, Violet Elementary, St. Gertrude, etc. The good old days. New photo of Jim and I on our 28 year wedding anniversary and 43 years all together. Retired April 1, 2012 after 43 years employed a AAA. I started on nov 11, 1968. Consider myself a veteran. Jim and I have lived in Belleville for 21 years and if I move again it will probably be to a nursing home. I lived in Ypsilanti (15 yrs) after I graduated from high school and got married 9 days later. Wasn't married even two years. Stayed single for about 19 years when Jim and I got married in 1989. We lived together for 15 years before deciding it was safe to tie the knot. I did not have any kids. After being the oldest of 7 kids I was not in any hurry to have kids. Besides, I kept busy with Jim's kids and raising his granddaughter. Am now a GREAT-grandmother as of June 13, 2013 and spending almost a month in Georgia helping with the newborn.
