Christina's Story
Life
Seems like a million years since I was in high school. Even more so since my daughter, Sasha just graduated from high school herself and is now attending the University of Tennessee - go Vols!
After high school I got married, had a baby and moved to Moreno Vally, Perris and Thousand Oaks, CA. I was with my husband for about 14 years; the marriage did not work out so my daughter and I went to live near family in Jersey. We love New Jersey but one thing led to another and we ended up in East Tennessee - of all places. There can't be 3 more different places then So CA, New Jersey and Maryville, Tennessee. Life is nice and quiet here, but very different. It's a place where everyone talks to you and everyone would help you in a jam. It is also a place that if you "ain't from around her...Expand for more
"e, they will let you know. It has been a wonderful place to finish raising my daughter hich is what brought me here in the first place.
My favorite thing to do here is swim in the river - of course when the weather is warm enough. We live very near to the the Smoky Mountains so hiking is also a great pasttime. Church is very important here - which makes people act very respectfully. It's a given you will be at church on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights and you should be there Sunday evening as well. Saturdays in the fall are dedicated to the University of Tennessee football, everyone wears orange and the stores are deserted if there is a game on.
Life is simple and good.
I work as a legal secretary in downtown Knoxville. I have worked for AMGEN and Brunswick in past years.
