Christina's Story

Life I am happily married to my soul-mate, Eddie Keller and living in Las Vegas, Nevada. We reconnected after losing touch many years ago and the sparks flew. I have two wonderful boys. Anthony is a senior at UNLV and a Hospitality Management major. (Boy, do I feel old!) Preston is a sophomore in high school. I am proud of making the move to reconnect with my old friend who later became my husband. It is amazing how easily we drift apart from important people in our lives. He was a true friend and very supportive. If only I had known he was my soul-mate all those years ago. I don't know where I'd be today if it weren't for him. Now, I can't imagine life without him. Totally Unrelated to the Above - Something that would surprise everyone at our high school reunion is that Mark and I have mended fences. After missing out for twelve years, he is a very important part in Anthony's life and one of my best friends. It is amazing how much changes with years and maturity. School I only went to LaPlata my junior and senior year. Those years had some very good and some very bad times for me. One of my big crushes was Mark Huseman. I sure fell hard...and I have a child to prove it. After twelve years of not speaking, we are great friends. He is a wonderful person. Life is good!...Expand for more
I hope my friends remember me as a true friend. Someone that was there to lean on. I think the biggest surprise in my life is how much tragedy my family can survive. In 2002, my brother, Mike, survived being shot in the head but we lost his two year old son, Will, in the same crime. We struggled our way through the criminal and civil trials. We have had other miscellaneous issues since then. Then we recently lost my baby brother, James, at the age of 30 to cancer of the pancreas. I miss him more than anyone could imagine. If I had one do-over, what would I do differently? I'd take more of a risk by doing something out of character for me. Take a missed opportunity in the summer of 1990. I relax by watching movies. I like all kinds but prefer thrillers and comedies. I'd be lying if I said I didn't like chick-flicks because I am a hopeless romantic at heart. My baby brother and I had an unspoken bond. He will always remain my hero. He confronted his certain death with bravery at the tender age of 30. If I could improve our home, I'd update everything. My dream home would be a cape cod with a large front porch. If I won $100 million, I'd give 50% of it to charity and 25% to family and friends, then spend the rest on my children's education, new vehicle and home and savings.
