2001 - Landed full time job at the school as Special Ed. Secty.
2016 - still breathing and working now Admin. Asst. to Director of Spec. Ed. at our local school district. Daughter just got married and son has moved to Harrisburg... Not sure when I'll retire, but getting close to not wanting to work every day.
My next chapter in life - I have retired!!! It's just 3 days since (6/27/2019), and I am feeling quite odd. My conscience is gearing to get up tomorrow morning for work; but I have to keeps telling myself - YOU DON'T NEED TO GET UP - YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORK ANYMORE...
So, I'll be heading to our local animal shelter by Tuesday to get on a schedule to walk some dogs or play with some cats that need attention before adoption. I'll also be planning to get to the barn early mornings so that I can ride my horse..
Wish me luck!
Fall 2020 taking ranch riding lessons... also to give my horse and myself a better ride.
Summer 2021-competed at a few Ranch Riding shows. We did well & placed in all of our classes... Woo hoo! Next adventure may be to practice sorting cows... if my horse doesn't mind.
