Christina's Story
Life
Christina currently resides in Northwestern Oregon's beautiful Willamette Valley, just 50 miles south of Portland in the heart of the Northwest's premier Pinos Noir country. She lives in Salem which, while it retains status by being the capitol city, is pretty a much a "one-horse town." Most residents and local teens agree.
Christina, being no stranger to "one-horse towns", doesn't really have a problem with this. And, yes, it rains a lot here. It's probably raining right now.
Christina remained in Tracy after highschool graduation and very wisely chose a career in telemarketing over an immediate college education so she could "get the hell out of my parent's house". This proved an astute decision as she effortlessly juggled college with a full-time job for the next 10 years.
Christina married lucklessly in her early twenties to a former car salesman from Manteca. It didn't last very long due to conflicting values (he didn't feel the need to give up "dating".)
She then left the Valley for the Bay Area, while pursuing a quasi-career in debt collection, filing, and "How may I direct your call?", and there met her current husband Rik, a former popular Bay Area glam rocker.

hru Vegas wedding in 1996, offspring number 1 arrived in 1997 (Orion, male), on the night of her 10-year high school reunion. She heard it was fun and hopes you all did a jello shot for her.
Months later, the family relocated to Oregon and has remained there, damp and happy, ever since. Genetic extension number 2(Echo, Female) hatched in 1999, much to her own delight.
Christina works for the Oregon Department of Corrections, occasionally entering many of the state's minimum and maximum security prisons in the course of her work. To date, she has not been taken hostage or traded for a carton of cigarettes.
She is also a former board member, co-founder, and board chairperson of a non-profit community child care center.
She spends most of her time running away from the kids, assisting her husband in running his restaurant, and doing household renovations to her 70-year-old cottage-style home, near downtown. She watches too much HGTV and, as it turns out, taping drywall joints is actually trickier than it looks.
