Christina's Story
I left Long Island to head off to college in VA, where I started out in Electrical Engineering and then changed majors to Math. During my junior year, I began teaching math in a small Christian private school. After graduating from college, I worked in education for 13 years. the Arts to increase standardized test scores in DC, and being nominated by my students for the Disney Teacher Award.
After 15 years in the classroom, I went back to school for Network Engineering. I am currently supporting DoD with it's mission to protect the warfighter.
My hope is to return to teaching someday, maybe open my own school. For me, there is no greater joy than watching a child learn.
