Christine's Story

Life is good---even with its challenges! After college at WSU, I stayed in Washington but since retiring from teaching and Alan from engineering, we moved to Arizona to be closer to my girls and 4 grandchildren; and the weather had a little bit to do with it too! Alan's girls are still in Washington and my second daughter recently moved back so we travel back and forth. Love, love, love Arizona and all it has to offer, but my heart will always belong to Washington! Alan and I have traveled around the world together experiencing amazing adventures and cultures. Great times! We continue to have our adventures, ...Expand for more
but on a smaller scale now. Alan had a stroke last summer. It certainly has been a game changer for us, but he still continues to make great strides in his recovery! We have so much to be thankful for! I love being a grandmother!!! My grandkids are 12, 9, 8, and 5; two boys and two girls. So much fun! Alan has 8 grandchildren spread out over the whole country, between the ages of 25 and 10. Yes, he is a lot older than I am!!! We see the 3 in Washington the most. Hopefully there will be an interest in organizing our 50th reunion in 2017. I will be glad to help in any way I can from a distance! Chris
