Christine's Story
Life
Now it's June 2007! I'm divorcing my second husband and looking for a job. Living in an apartment in Reno, Nevada. I am planning to buy a house when my finances can afford it.
School
I attended Kindergarden thru my Junior year in High School in Escondido, California. I attended Escondido High School and was involved with the school Pep club and played on the JV volley ball team for my sophmore and junior years. Moved to Ramona, California, for my senior year and graduated in 1975 from Ramona High. We had a whole 100 students in our graduating class. I enjoyed going to a smaller school in Ramona and making new friends.
College
I've gone to two Junior Colleges and three Universities. My first college experience was at Grossmont College in El Cajon, California taking general ed classes. nting. In 1977, I attended Brigham Young University and was more interested in dating boys than I was in studying. Ironically, the first boy I dated was one from San Diego that I had already dated.In 1990, I attended computer classes at Boise State University in Boise, Idaho. During the years of 2000-2001 I attended Web Development training at Southern Methodist University in San Antonio, Texas, which was paid for by the US Air Force for retraining as I was losing my job at Kelly Air Force Base due to Base Closures.
Workplace
I have 10 years experience in Federal Civil Service. I have worked for The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Corps of Engineers, Army, and the Air Force. I have worked as a Office Automation Clerk (similiar to a secretary), Medical Clerk and as a Personnel Actions Clerk. My favorite position was as a Personnel Actions Clerk specializing in Health Insurance with the Personnel Office at Kelly Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
