Life
Updated in 2012 - I have been living in Temecula Valley, California for 13 years and love it. I don't miss the hussle and bussle of OC one bit. My husband and I have been happily married almost 17 years now and we have 3 boys, ages 13, 11, and 9. I am still a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom. My husband is a licensed contractor and we own our own business doing Sandblasting, where I manage all the accounting.
In the last 20 years I have learned that the secret to life is being content with what you have....and the secret to contentment is not having more, but wanting less. Many people live life paycheck to paycheck trying to keep up with the Jones'. We have learned through lifes trials that true happiness is being debt free! My family takes pride in sitting down to dinner every night, spending family time together, serving at church and attending church every Sunday. By owning our own business and homeschooling our children we are able to make our own schedules and truly enjoy our time together. At the end of your life, you will not look back on all the things you have but all the time you wasted.
In our free time our family is known to 4-Wheel in my awesome Jeep, go Geocaching, soak up the sun at the river, run several miles with friends and any other outdoor activity you can think of. My husband and I are currently training for the HB Marathon in February. He is running the full and I will be running the half. Something to add to our bucket list :)
