Keith and I just celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary. A lot has transpired in 38 years but the most important have been the births of our children. Eric was born Jan. '78 in Nashua, NH. Then Andrea in Jan. '80 in Tacoma, WA. Last but not least we had (just one more) Lesley Ann born Feb. '86 in Santa Barbara, CA! I have been a very busy, "keep involved in whatever the kids are doing" stay at home Mom. I am very thankful that Keith encouraged me to be the kind of Mom we grew up watching on TV (except he didn't come home to see me wearing heels and a dress!) As much as the kids thought that I was always "around" at their schools, I know they appreciate it now. Remember the PATCO (air traffic controllers) strike in 1981? Keith was one of the 11,000 controllers who were fired. We had just bought our first home, had our two young children and no job. Keith went back to school on his GI bill and we collected food stamps! Lots of fun but in retrospect it did us a lot of good in character building. My aunt and uncle were living in Santa Barbara, CA and asked us to come down for Thanksgiving.
