Christine's Story
After high school I went to school at UNC. Stayed for one year, and decided I didn't know what I wanted to do. Made some not so great choices, but glad that I did to get me where I needed to be. Went back to school in Greeley for awhile more to hang out with Donnie's band than anything else. Definitely had a lot of fun. I became pregnant with my first son (Nick) when I was 24. The absolute best thing I have ever done. He changed my life completely. When Nick was 2, Donnie's brothers (Stephen & Michael)came to live with me due to unforseen circumstances. They were 9 & 12 at the time. Donnie and I had been off and on for many years. At that point we got back together for the last time ( I hope). I guess we just decided it was meant to be. nd I wanted to be with my kids. I have taken classes off and on through the years, and am currently 15 credits short of my Psychology degree. Donnie and I always do things backwards, and in 2002 we had our youngest son (Hunter). We then had a wedding in 2005. Crazy and fun. I have a house full of boys although Stephen and Michael are now 21 & 18. I still have my husband and our 2 little boys, not to mention 3 male dogs. I am now working for a company from home doing very well. Eventually I will finish my credits. I would like to substitute teach, or be a junior high counselor. We love to travel with our kids, and we spend a lot of time on the baseball field, and running kids to this and that. We live in Westminster, so never too far from home. I feel very blessed to be where I am. Looking forward to 20 years, and to seeing how everyone is.
