Christine's Story

I am a Family Nurse Practitioner. I practiced in Hospital Employee Health for 30 years first at UCDavis, the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and last at the Christiana Health System in Delaware where I was for 20 years. I retired there when I was becoming more an administrator and not an clinician. I am now working in a rural clinic on the Northern Neck of Virginia on the Rappahanock River or the "the Rivah". I had one child Teddy who you met at the 10th and the only reunion I know of. I lost him in 1991 in a scuba diving accident. He was doing what he wanted to do most in all the world. The last thing he said to me was "Mom I know how much you love sailing, ...Expand for more
that's how much I love diving. Thanks so much for giving me diving". I had given him diving lessons for his birthday the year before and that year. So don't be sad. He is a beautiful memory which I love to share. I welcome anyone to write or call. Come visit as soon as we build we will have an entire floor just for guests. Hope is all well with you. I am married to a wonderful man, long story, but aren't they all! But I needed a nanny and he needed benefits. We'd been friends for 12 years. He came to may graduation from Penn when I had no family and wasn't even going to walk. we were married 8 years later. Who knew. Best friends. So write, call, visit.
