Christine's Story
Life
After high school, I continued to work and went to Harford Community College where I graduated with a certificate as a Computer Office Specialist. I worked on Aberdeen Proving Ground off and on; the first time as a contractor at the Army Research Laboratory. I left there to work for SuperValu which is where I met my husband, Chris. We met in Dec '96 and married in Aug '99. I decided to hyphenate my last name in memory of my Dad who passed away suddenly in Oct '98. In '97 I returned working back on APG in the Edgewood Area at the U.S. Army Center for Health Promotion and Preventive Medicine as a contractor. I worked there for ...Expand for more
over 8 years and well, unfortunately, contractors do not have job stability - but I'm not bitter or anything. :) I have a wonderful step-son, Christopher who is quite the "mini-me" of my husband and who towers over me by at least 4 inches as of Sep 07 (and he's only 12)!!!! Christopher loves to play all kinds of sports - baseball, basketball, and football seem to be his favorites at the moment. Chris and I moved to Winston-Salem, NC in Nov '05 and we love it here!!!! I currently work for United Health Group and I love my job!!! I hope to hear from some old classmates/friends, so drop me a line or look me up on Myspace or Facebook.
