Christine's Story
Life
I have been living in the Phoenix, AZ area since 1993...I have a son named Ryan who just graduated from Arizona State University with a BS in Computer Science. I got married to my forever person in November, 2018, and we live in Mesa, AZ. I am the manager of Electronic Distribution for the Best Western family of hotels.
School
I was kind of a geek in high school, I think. I remember being friends with a variety of people, never really in a particular "clique". Closest friends were Bill Dean, Missy Fletcher, Kristin St. Pierre, Kelly Francis, Kelly Belmarce, Kerri Hoines, Scott DeMelo, Mickey Avila, Russell Andrews, and Carl Beckman. College
Moved to Rochester, NY after graduation to attend RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology) as a Biomedical Computing major, which was a combination of Biology and Computer Science. My career goal at that time was to write code for medical applications. After two years, I decided I hated it, and dropped out. I then enrolled in Monroe Community College in the Hotel Management program, and got my Associates in 18 months. Ended up living in Rochester for a total of 4 years...moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1993.
Workplace
Started working in hotels when I was working on my hotel degree in 1991...have done nothing else since. I have worked in all phases of the industry...currently I'm the Manager of Electronic Distribution at the Best Western corporate office.
