Christine's Story
My Name is Christine Ann Craighead (Hadley). I am 38 years old and have been married to my high school sweetheart for 18 years. His name is Larry, and he also graduated from Leander High School in 1986. We have four beautiful daughters, Lauren age 16, Taylor age 13, Carol Ann age 5, and Tara age 2. I currently manage my brother-in-law's medical clinic. It is called Union Treatment Centers, and we offer family practice and occupational medicine services. My husband sold his medical clinic two years ago, which I also managed.
My four girls mean everything in the world to me, so when I am not at work I am hanging out with them. My oldest daughter is graduating early at the end of the year. She wants to be a movie director. My 13 years old is an athlete. She plays 2nd base on her select softball team and has been to nationals three times now. Also, she is one of the top tennis players at her school. We attend Great Hills Baptist church and like to go on family ski trips. We have been to Durango, Breckenridge, Park City, Wolf Creek, Santa Fe, Taos, Kirkwood, Heavenly, and Las Lenas, Argentina. I like to read and shop, and my husband likes to fly model r/c planes and helicopters. We don't have any pets, but my 5 year old wants a kitten for her birthday.
After high school I joined the national guard, and then spent 6 years on active duty with the Texas Drug Intradiction Program. I was the NCOIC in charge in the Dallas region, working in INS preparing intelligence reports. After that, I went back to school and studied chemistry. I didn't graduate because I stopped to help my husband get his clinic going. I really enjoyed the work, so have been managing medical clinics for the past 12 years.
I hope to someday write a book, which is my dream. That is pretty much what the Craighead family has been up to for the past 20 years.
