Christine's Story
School
I loved high school...almost the best years of my lfe!...second only to bringing up my daughter!
College
College was difficult for me...because I never studied in high school. I finally made it, and did a bit better in graduate classes.
Workplace
I started working in Warren ...Warren Consolidated School district...went from elementary to junior high school....took groups of kids to Washington D.C....those were the best!
I moved to Miami...taught at a Sacred Heart Academy....all girls' school. They were rich, but sometimes sad. The building was a natio...Expand for more
nal historic site, with the biggest swiiming pool in Miami...good thing because, back in 1980, my car did not have air. It is still in Coconut Grove, and showed me a whole different way of life.
Now, I am teaching in Pasco Co., in FL. I have been at the same school since 1983. I love my job, but will be happy to retire in 5 years.
... I just changed schools after 25 years. That's what divorce will do for you!
I would like to volunteer at a children's hospital when I retire...those babes need surrogate grandmothers...and I just might be their ray of sunshine :-)
